The Strategic Investment Fund (SIF) provides funding to support key initiatives of the University of Virginia’s 2030 Plan. Serving as a catalyst for transformational progress, SIF invests in high-impact projects that reflect UVA’s most ambitious strategic priorities.

Each initiative is carefully selected by University Executive Leadership and approved by the Board of Visitors to accelerate institutional goals and generate lasting, meaningful outcomes.
